About this trip

Seven days in Bali takes you from the cultural heart of Ubud with its rice terraces, fire dances, and jungle temples to the volcanic crater of Kintamani, the sacred sea temple of Tanah Lot, and the beach clubs of Seminyak. The floating breakfast is real, the sunsets are better than the photos, and there is no bad day in Bali.

🚐 Ngurah Rai Airport Transfers

What's included

  1. 1
Arrive Bali | Seminyak Beach | Welcome Dinner

Arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport and transfer to your 4-star hotel in Seminyak. Afternoon stroll along Seminyak Beach for your first Bali sunset. Welcome dinner at a beachfront restaurant with nasi goreng, satay lilit, and fresh coconut. Overnight Seminyak.

💡 Exchange currency at a licensed money changer in Seminyak - avoid airport counters which have poor rates.

  2. 2
Floating Breakfast | Drive to Ubud | Tegallalang Rice Terraces | Royal Palace

Start the morning with the iconic floating breakfast experience, served on a flower-laden tray in your hotel's infinity pool. Drive 1.5 hours to Ubud, Bali's cultural heartland. Walk through the UNESCO-listed Tegallalang Rice Terraces with a local guide explaining the ancient subak irrigation system. Evening visit to Ubud Royal Palace and the lotus pond at Saraswati Temple. Optional Kecak Fire Dance at sunset. Overnight Ubud.

💡 Wear a sarong at all temples in Bali - they are provided free at the entrance but you must be covered.

  3. 3
Kintamani Volcano | Tirta Empul | Goa Gajah

Morning drive up to Kintamani for panoramic views of Mount Batur, an active volcano, and the serene Lake Batur below. Buffet lunch at a hilltop restaurant overlooking the caldera. Visit Tirta Empul, the 10th-century holy spring temple where visitors participate in the melukat purification ritual. Stop at Goa Gajah, the 9th-century Elephant Cave with carved stone entrance. Overnight Ubud.

💡 Bring a waterproof bag to Tirta Empul - the purification pools are splashy and the temple is best visited in the morning.

  4. 4
Waterfall Day | Tegenungan | Sekumpul | Sacred Monkey Forest

Morning at Tegenungan Waterfall, easily accessible with a natural pool at the base. Drive to Sekumpul, Bali's most spectacular multi-tiered waterfall deep in the jungle with a 30-minute trek each way. Afternoon at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud where 700 long-tailed macaques roam among ancient temples. Evening browse at Ubud Art Market for batik, silver jewellery, and wood carvings. Overnight Ubud.

💡 Do not carry open food into the Monkey Forest - monkeys will grab it. Keep bags zipped at all times.

  5. 5
Tanah Lot Temple | Seminyak Beach Club | Sunset

Morning checkout and drive to Tanah Lot, Bali's most iconic sea temple perched on a coastal rock with waves crashing around it. Walk across the tidal flat at low tide and receive a blessing from the priest at the temple base. Drive to Seminyak for an afternoon at the beach and sunset at La Plancha Beach Bar with bean bags on the sand. Overnight Seminyak.

💡 Tanah Lot is best visited 1 to 2 hours before sunset - check tide times in advance as the walkway closes at high tide.

  6. 6
Spa Day | Canggu | Jimbaran Farewell Dinner

Relaxed morning with a 90-minute traditional Balinese massage at one of Seminyak's excellent spas. Afternoon in Canggu for beach time or a beginner surf lesson on the gentle breaks. Drive to Jimbaran Bay for a farewell seafood BBQ on the beach with fresh lobster, grilled fish, and prawns as the sun sets over the ocean. Overnight Seminyak.

💡 Book your spa appointment a day in advance during peak season - the best spas fill up fast in June, July, and December.

  7. 7
    Final Morning | Departure

Relaxed final morning by the pool or a last walk through Seminyak. Optional visit to Waterbom Bali water park in Kuta if you have time before your flight. Transfer to Ngurah Rai Airport for your return flight to India. End of tour.

💡 Bali airport departure is busy - arrive at least 3 hours early for international flights.
