About this trip

Four days in Rishikesh gives you the full picture — the thundering white water of Grade III rapids at Shivpuri, cliff jumping into the clear green Ganga, sunrise yoga on the riverbank, and the haunting beauty of the Ganga Aarti as lamps float downstream at dusk. Add a day in Haridwar and you have one of the most complete short trips in North India.

🚐 Haridwar / Dehradun Pickup and Drop

What's included

  1. 1
Arrive Rishikesh | Laxman Jhula | Ganga Aarti

Transfer from Haridwar or Dehradun and check in to your riverside camp. Afternoon walk across Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula suspension bridges over the Ganga lined with temples and ashrams. Evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat at 6:30 PM with lamps, chanting, and floating diyas. Overnight Rishikesh.

💡 Triveni Ghat aarti is more serene and local than the busy Parmarth Niketan aarti — worth choosing if you prefer fewer crowds.

  2. 2
White Water Rafting | Cliff Jumping | Riverside Camp

Morning white water rafting from Shivpuri to Rishikesh on 16 km of Grade III-IV rapids through the Garhwal gorge. After rafting, cliff jumping from rocky ledges into the clear green Ganga at a sandy riverside beach. Optional kayaking on calmer stretches in the afternoon. Bonfire dinner under the stars. Overnight Rishikesh.

💡 Grade III-IV rapids are best between September and November when the river flow is strongest after monsoon.

  3. 3
Morning Yoga | Neelkanth Temple | Beatles Ashram

Sunrise yoga and pranayama on the riverbank at your camp. Mid-morning drive to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, a sacred Shiva temple 32 km into the forest hills. Afternoon visit to the Beatles Ashram where the Fab Four spent 1968 composing, now covered in jungle and street art. Overnight Rishikesh.

💡 Beatles Ashram charges a small entry fee but is absolutely worth visiting — the jungle-reclaimed buildings are extraordinary.

  4. 4
Drive to Haridwar | Har Ki Pauri | Mansa Devi Temple | Departure

30-minute drive to Haridwar for a ritual dip at Har Ki Pauri ghat. Walk the sacred ghats with sadhus and temple bells. Take the ropeway up to Mansa Devi Temple for panoramic views of Haridwar and the Ganga. Depart by train or cab. End of tour.

💡 Haridwar Ganga Aarti at 6 PM at Har Ki Pauri is India's most spectacular — arrive 30 minutes early for a good spot.
