Day 1

Delhi to Agra | Agra Fort | Taj Mahal at Sunset

Drive or take the Gatimaan Express (2 hrs) from Delhi. Check in to your hotel then head to Agra Fort, the UNESCO-listed Mughal citadel where Shah Jahan was imprisoned and could see the Taj from his tower. By late afternoon enter the Taj Mahal complex as the marble turns pink and amber in the fading light. Dinner at Peshawri or Pinch of Spice. Overnight Agra.

Day 2

Taj Mahal Sunrise | Mehtab Bagh | Fatehpur Sikri

Up before dawn for the Taj at sunrise - the marble glows gold and the crowds are thin. Cross the Yamuna to Mehtab Bagh for the best unobstructed full-complex view and reflection shot. After lunch drive 40 km to Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's perfectly planned city abandoned 400 years ago. Walk through the Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Panch Mahal. Overnight Agra.

💡 Tip: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. Arrive at 6 AM for sunrise - soft light and almost no crowds.
Day 3

Kinari Bazaar | Marble Inlay Workshops | Return to Delhi

Morning walk through Kinari Bazaar selling leather goods, marble souvenirs, petha sweets, and Mughal-era jewellery. Visit a marble inlay workshop to watch artisans recreate the same pietra dura stonework that decorates the Taj. Pick up Agra petha as gifts. Drive or train back to Delhi. End of tour.
