Walk up Philopappos Hill for the best free panoramic view of the Acropolis at sunset from the opposite hill. Dinner at a Plaka rooftop taverna. Overnight Athens.
π‘ Tip: Stay in the Monastiraki or Plaka neighbourhood for immediate access to the ancient sites and the best rooftop restaurant views of the Acropolis.
Day 2

Early morning Acropolis visit at opening time for the Parthenon, Erechtheion, and Temple of Athena Nike with fewer crowds. Descend to the Ancient Agora where Socrates taught philosophy. Afternoon at the world-class Acropolis Museum for the original Elgin Marbles. Optional evening drive 70 km to Cape Sounion for the Temple of Poseidon dramatically perched on a sea cliff at sunset. Overnight Athens.
π‘ Tip: The Acropolis combined ticket covers 7 archaeological sites in Athens valid for 5 days - excellent value if you plan to visit multiple sites.
Day 3
Ferry or Flight to Mykonos | Mykonos Town | Windmills | Little Venice
Morning ferry 5 hours or 35-minute flight to Mykonos. Check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring Mykonos Town, one of the most charming villages in the Aegean, with its cubic whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, and bougainvillea everywhere. Walk up to the iconic windmills on the hill above town. Evening drinks at Little Venice where the houses hang directly over the sea. Overnight Mykonos.
π‘ Tip: Mykonos ferry takes 5 hours but is scenic - the flight takes 35 minutes. Choose based on your time and whether you enjoy sea crossings.
Day 4
Delos Sacred Island | Ancient City | Return for Beach Club Afternoon
Morning boat to Delos, the uninhabited sacred island birthplace of Apollo, with an entire ancient Greek city to explore including temples, mosaics, and the famous Terrace of the Lions. Return to Mykonos by noon for an afternoon at a beach club on Paradise or Super Paradise Beach with the famously lively Mykonos scene. Overnight Mykonos.
π‘ Tip: Delos is one of Greece's most important archaeological sites and completely uncrowded compared to the Acropolis - do not miss it.
Day 5
Mykonos | Ornos Beach | Armenistis Lighthouse Sunset | Last Dinner in Town
Relaxed beach day at Ornos Beach, the calmest and most family-friendly of the Mykonos beaches with calm water and good tavernas. Late afternoon drive to the Armenistis Lighthouse on the rocky northwestern tip of the island for the most dramatic Aegean sunset outside of Santorini. Farewell dinner in Mykonos Town in the Kastro neighbourhood. Overnight Mykonos.
π‘ Tip: Mykonos restaurants in the Kastro area are more authentic and less touristy than those along the main tourist drag - always walk a few streets further for better food.
Day 6
Final Mykonos Morning | Fly to Athens | Departure
Final morning swim and breakfast on Mykonos before the short flight back to Athens for your international connection. Pick up Greek honey, saffron from Kozani, and mastiha liqueur from Chios as the finest Greek souvenirs. End of tour.
π‘ Tip: Greek Kozani saffron is one of the world's finest and significantly cheaper than anywhere else - buy it from a spice shop rather than the airport for the best quality.
