Day 2
Ferry to Koh Samui | Chaweng Beach | Sunset at Fisherman's Village
Arrive at Surat Thani and connect by ferry to Koh Samui, Thailand's second largest island. Evening at the Fisherman's Village on Bophut Beach, a charming row of traditional wooden Chinese shophouses converted to restaurants and boutiques with excellent seafood right on the water. Overnight Koh Samui.
π‘ Tip: Koh Samui has two very different sides. The east coast around Chaweng is lively and resort-oriented. The north coast around Bophut and Maenam is quieter, cheaper, and more authentic. Choose based on preference.
Day 3
Koh Samui | Ang Thong Marine Park | Kayaking | Emerald Lagoon
Full day speedboat trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park, an archipelago of 42 jungle-clad limestone islands 30 kilometres west of Samui with extraordinary emerald waters between the rocks. Snorkeling above pristine coral between the outer islands. Return to Samui by evening. Overnight Koh Samui.

Day 4
Koh Phangan | North Beach | Bottle Beach | Jungle Waterfall Hike
Ferry 30 minutes to Koh Phangan. Check in to accommodation on the quieter north coast, away from the famous party beaches of Haad Rin. Morning at Bottle Beach, one of the most beautiful and isolated beaches in the Gulf of Thailand, accessible only by longtail boat or a jungle trail. Afternoon guided hike to Than Sadet waterfall in the forest interior, a royal retreat visited by nine Thai kings. Evening quiet dinner at a beachside restaurant far from the full moon scene. Overnight Koh Phangan.
π‘ Tip: Koh Phangan has two very different personalities. The north and west coasts are quiet and beautiful. Haad Rin in the south hosts the famous Full Moon Party. Choose your base on the island according to what you are looking for.
Day 5
Ferry to Koh Tao | Scuba Diving Introduction | Mae Haad Beach
Ferry one hour north to Koh Tao, the smallest of the three islands and the best diving destination in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Tao has extraordinary coral gardens, whale sharks from March to August, and blacktip reef sharks year-round. Evening at Mae Haad Beach pier for a sunset drink and fresh seafood dinner. Overnight Koh Tao.
π‘ Tip: Koh Tao is the cheapest place in the world to get PADI certified. A full Open Water course takes four days and costs around 10,000 baht including all equipment. Hundreds of dive schools operate on the island.
Day 6
Koh Tao Full Day Diving | Shark Bay | Japanese Gardens | Sunset Swim
Full day of diving or snorkeling at Koh Tao's finest sites. Shark Bay on the south coast has the most reliable blacktip reef shark sightings in shallow water just off the beach, accessible without a boat. Swim at sunset from the beach as the Gulf of Thailand turns gold. Overnight Koh Tao.
